Case Study: Cisco
Cisco provides networking, security, and collaboration products to businesses around the globe. It is a multinational company with a significant presence here in St. Louis. One of their employees came to an event at the event space and liked what he saw. Our studios have more options and creative capabilities to support the filming needs beyond what is available with internal teams.
What Services Did Outreach Studios Provide?
Outreach Studios provides many services during our great, long-term relationship with Cisco. We often work together on creative commercial-type shoots with huge crews, hair and make-up teams, and with actors. Many of the top employees of the organization participate in the shoots and become actors, which can make for some really funny content!
The Cisco team often takes advantage of our on-location shoots with filming in Spain and traveling to Mexico to get footage of factories located there.
Some of the Successes
The theme of the Cisco conference this year is the Matrix. This is a virtual conference that will include a ton of animations. With these sorts of events, one needs to do something fun to hold thousands of people’s attention and mix in fun elements. That is our creative specialty!
Another challenge Cisco overcomes with our video services is with knowledge transfer. Some stuff is videos sent out in newsletters and emails to tens of thousands of representatives when important information needs to be shared. The open rates and read rates are much higher with one of our videos which is why they keep coming back.
Next Steps
The virtual conference in 2020 had to happen with almost no notice, but we all worked together to make it work. They are going virtual this year again with the success of last year.
We look forward to the fun and creative ideas going forwards in our long-term working relationship.
“Outreach Studios has created many videos for Cisco for our large annual internal sales conferences. Outreach Studios helped provide creative services from concept, scripting, production, post-production, and delivery of the final products, which included video and graphic assets. The goals of the videos are to raise awareness and empower our sales force to better sell our products in a fun and interesting way.”
